FAW C Certificate
NEW APPLICATIONS RELEASED
The FAW C Certificate course is delivered over a period of eight contacts. It is designed to educate candidates in the technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social requirements of modern football so that candidates may devise, organise, conduct and evaluate coaching sessions in the development of youth and senior players.
Coaches will be expected to deliver practical sessions on course, however there is no formal assessment. Coaches will also be required to complete logbook tasks and session planners throughout the course.

£250.00
The Sport Wales Community Chest Grant provides up to £1500 in any 12 month period for Level 1 and 2 Coach Education Courses.

Youth & Senior Pathways
Each coaching pathway has been specifically designed to help coaches working within a particular field.
Youth Certificate - The course is designed for coaches working with youth players focusing on the individual development of players aged 5 – 21 within a technical, tactical, physical, mental, and a social context.
Senior Certificate - The course is designed for coaches working with senior players focusing on the individual development within a technical, tactical, physical, mental and a social context.

FAW C Youth Certificate pre-requisites
Valid FAW Football Leaders Award
Valid First Aid qualification (FAW or HSE Recognised)
Welfare & Child Protection Certificate. (FAW or Sports Coach)
FAW C Senior Certificate pre-requisites
Valid First Aid qualification (FAW or HSE Recognised)
Application Process
Places for each course are limited to 36 candidates and all applications will be strictly handled on a 'first come, first served' basis.

The Welsh Football Trust is a Collaborative Partner of the University of South Wales
When enrolling on the FAW C' Certificate you will also be enrolled with our education collaborative partner University of South Wales and complete 2 x 20 credit modules which form part of the 1st year of a Fd/B.Sc (hons) Football Coaching & Performance this is offered free of charge and allows you to gain university credit, which can be used if required toward future study at the University of South Wales.
