As you may have seen, the FAW Trust
launched Huddle in September of this year aimed at attracting new girls to football through a relaxed, informal and fun introduction to the game. The first phase was purposely on a small scale to monitor the impact and ensure it was reaching the right target audience. Confident that Huddle is attracting girls primarily aged between 5-12, we are now planning the next phase which will be launching in April 2020, where we are opening it out to more clubs to come on board. Many clubs are seeing positive results from girls building confidence and the basic skills at Huddle sessions before transitioning into their club teams.
