The Sartilly International Youth Tournament
Welsh clubs are invited to play in the Sartilly International Youth Tournament in Britanny
Here's a great opportunity for young Welsh footballers
Junior clubs from across Wales have been invited to play in an international tournament in France this summer.
Applications are being accepted for the Sartilly International Youth Tournament, to be held in the town in Brittanny, on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Teams from U11, U13 and U15 are invited to enter the tournament, at a cost of 50 Euros per team.
While the Wales national team stayed in Brittany during their Euro 2016 campaign, the FAW Trust signed an exchange agreement with the Bretagne FA, which sees young players from each playing against each other every February.
This tournament brings about another opportunity for players from each country to learn more about each other's culture.
The application form and rules are available from the Welsh Football Trust website and, for further details, please email tournoisartilly2018@gmail.com
If you are intending to take part you’ll need to gain permission from your relevant league and area association.
